Why I became a Notary…

It all began with a desire to work after being out of the workforce for over 2 years. I spent most of my days focusing on my faith, health, family, pursuing educational goals, and training my service dog. Now, it’s time for me to set out on the adventure of entrepreneurship. Why a Notary? Well, the profession allows accommodations for a disabled veteran, a flexible schedule, remote work setting, and the opportunity to meet lots of people. Plus, it allows me to travel with my service dog as needed, and that’s the best part!

I’ve been collecting signatures within the healthcare field working in admissions, registration, ER, trauma, labor & delivery, after-hours clinics, specialty clinics, and pediatrics for state, federal, and private hospitals. Oh, and as a cashier and a customer service representative. In addition to being a former Security Force Member in the Air Force, my experiences have built a well-qualified, reliable, and efficient notary. So, why not open a business and do something that I’ve done for years and provide services to the Alabama community!

The choice may seem small, but for me, it’s something greater…I’m serving, and employment provides purpose. Ace Collins wrote in Stick & Stones, “No matter what you say, don’t let the one you are speaking to feel as if you don’t believe in them”. Sometimes, our “inner critic” or “remarks of others” determine what could be possible.

Stay tuned! I will share everything I’ve learned along the way. Welcome to my resource and information page! I will share moments of inspiration and knowledge I have acquired that will be beneficial for anyone seeking resourceful information. Thanks for joining me on my entrepreneurship journey!
