Women's History Month

Women have played a powerful and often overlooked role in the history of the notary profession. While notaries date back centuries to ancient civilizations, women began stepping into these important legal roles in greater numbers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries as laws slowly expanded to allow women to hold public office.

One historic milestone is Emily Calkins Stebbins. One of the first female notaries. Since that moment, women have continued to break barriers in the legal and business world by serving their communities as trusted officials who verify identities, witness signatures, and help protect the integrity of important documents.

Notaries continue that legacy by providing professional, reliable, and accessible services in their communities. As business owners, legal professionals, and public servants, women help ensure that important transactions—from real estate closings to affidavits—are handled with care and integrity.

I’m proud to be part of that tradition by serving the community through NMG Notary Services, LLC. If you need fast, reliable, and professional notary services, I’m here to help!

Supporting history, serving the present, and helping secure the future—one notarized document at a time.
